Motel du Vieux Townside in Havre-St-Pierre welcomes you in the region of the North Shore of the St-Lawrence,
past the 50th parallel. This region is well-knowned for it's natural environment and magnificent landscape.
The village is directly facing the Archipel de Mingan National Park. Limestone islands of Archipel de Mingan
are spectacular with their natural sculptures eroded by the sea, rain and wind.
During your excursions, you will observe marine birds colonies, while admiring the details of those gigantic sculptures.
The excursions will give you the chance to see a variety of marine animals, such as seals and whales.
Different organizations offers boat or sea kayak excursions. The boat gives you the opportunity to go farther on the sea
and the kayak will give you the chance of seeing these wild beauties more closely.
Motel du Vieux Towenside is located at 0.4 km from the marina, where your excursions will start.
A sandy beach, near the marina, will bring you moments of relaxation near the sea.
For kitesurf lovers, this beach is an ideal location. And a local fishery store will give you the opportunity to taste the
fresh local sea products.
